Why members are being asked to report
At the Grouse, Convenor Kev explained that members should report their bus problems personally to SPS.
Members have reported that buses may follow an earlier finishing schedule, while workers finishing later may find buses already gone. This creates a gap where some workers cannot access available transport.
Members have also reported too few secure buses. When they are full or unavailable, workers may have to walk to North, adding more time to the day.
Your personal reportSPS receives the problem directly from the member who experienced it.
Union trackingThe union receives a copy so it can keep a record of every report.
EvidenceThe reports help identify repeated problems on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including buses that leave before later-finishing workers can use them.
LJC escalationThe union can use the evidence to raise unresolved or repeated problems at the LJC.
