Milestone Bonus

A milestone bonus of 10% of base pay is payable for all hours worked when project milestones are achieved on your area.

The agreement says "all hours worked", so include your overtime hours too.

This bonus depends on your Tier 1 contractor and Site Construction Director confirming that the relevant milestones were achieved on your area - it is not automatic. Payment starts 2 months after you begin work on the project, and can be withheld for a week affected by unofficial industrial action.

How it works

  • Milestone bonus is 10% of base pay for all hours worked, when milestones are achieved.
  • A typical scheme might weight schedule 6%, safety (LTI/RIDDOR) 2%, and quality (RFQ) 2%.
  • Paid weekly or fortnightly, one month in arrears.
  • Eligibility starts 2 months after you begin work on the project.
  • Accrued bonus is payable up to and including your last day of employment under the ECSA.
